Motorcyclists represent 1% of traffic yet account for up to 20% of the deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

Motorbike Accidents

Astonishingly, motorbikes account for just 1% of vehicles on the road, but account for 20% of all road traffic incidents in the UK, making motorbike users extremely vulnerable on Britain’s roads. Despite these figures, almost half of these incidents are the car driver’s fault, often from lack of awareness.

Motorcyclists are said to be 40% more likely to be injured in a road traffic incident that any other vehicles, with more than 25,000 bikers being injured as a result of an incident on the road in 2012 with 585 of those losing their lives.

Our foundations are built upon understanding the effects an injury can have on your day to day life and the effects that an incident can have on a motorcyclist. The potential for a rider not being able to get back on his motorcycle and enjoy riding is high following an incident – something we always account for during the writing of a witness statement.
